I plan to stick an edible image with a white background onto a cake that has been iced in red icing. I have read that the Edible Image will 'meld' with the icing over time. Does anybody know if me putting white on red will turn the white area on the edible image pink? Anybody have experience with this? Thanks so much!

I would put the image on a thin piece of white fondant before putting it directly onto the icing JMO.

i have an ei question--i have a pack of ei's, kopykake ones that have never been opened--been stored in a file cabinet for 2 years--is there a  chance they are still viable? i'm not gonna open 'em --i'm getting stuff together to sell--i can't find the extra ink i bought anywhere...grr

i don't see any dates on the packaging--

Maybe just sell them advertising that they are expired? Sell AS IS...so that they can't blame you for something later?
