Hi, My question is does anyone know if I could use Melted chocolate waffers on Butter Icing, When i do fondant I can melt chocolate waffers and do a paint splatter design, but will the Butter icing hold up to hot chocolate being drizzled over it? Thank you in advance for your thoughts and ideas.
I have poured warm ganache over a butter cream iced cakes with no problem. The top was completely covered with the ganache with some dripping down the sides. Just make sure you refrigerate the cake after icing before using warm ganache. HTH
