AMaking a red velvet cake for my boyfriend so I need it to be perfect. I need to pipe a border and a flower on it, is regular cream cheese icing okay to do that with? Or is there a certain recipe I should use?

I find most, if not all 'regular' cr ch frostings very hard to work with.  They tend to quickly melt in the bag while it's in your had as you pipe:(  Earlene Moore has a super great, easy cr cheese buttercream that will pipe well.  You can find the recipe on her site.  Just google "Earlene Moor".  Not sure if she has an 'e' on the end of Moor or not :)
