AI have baked my cookies and am decorating in royal icing. I ran out of edible ink markers and i have to do a tufted design on 60 more cookies! Please help, is there any substitutions for edible ink? I would love to outline the patterns before i start icing.

AHow about good old McCormick liquid food coloring on cotton swabs and/or small paintbrushes?
