ADoes anyone know the best way to make a silver cake?something similar to the second tier of this cake. [ATTACHMENT=1394]image.jpg (28k. jpg file)[/ATTACHMENT]

That tier was done with silver leaf transfer sheets.  Haven't played with it yet (waiting for delivery) but Faye Cahill has a step by step tutorial for sale - downloadable

Be sure you purchase edible silver…not just the stuff from the craft store - which can be toxic.

I would assume applying it is much the same as you would apply it to furniture or picture frames…with a dry brush.
