Has anyone tried Starbuck's snowman cookie? Its a shortbread cookie decorated with chocolate. I want to try something similar for Christmas but am unsure how to go about the chocolate icing. Is it some sort of chocolate royal icing or glaze icing that is put on the cookie?

AThe ones by house are not completely covered in chocolate just the hat. Tastes like regular cookie royal icing to me. I can guarantee you its nothing fancy. Those cookies come in like that from some factory. I'm sure you could come up with something just as good and probably better with your own hands

I've had them.  Mediocre at best.  The NFSC recipe with Antonia's icing blows them out of the water.
