AHey all!

I was wondering if you had any ideas for a two or three tier cake in the cars and planes theme which would look cool with lights incorporated?

Trying to get together some ideas for my son's birthday cake and he wants cars & planes on it :) Thanks!

I actually have the answer for you - depending on how old your son is.  Search for Fairy Berries on Save-on-crafts.com  They're small large marble sized lights.  You open up the marble, out the little plastic thingie that keeps it from activating and the light inside the marble will very slowly go on and off for hours and sometimes 48f hours.  I've used them at wedding shows then tossed them in my bad and found them still working the next day.  They're suppose to be spread on a lawn at a summer wedding and the blinking on and off is suppose to resemble fireflies.  I've used them inside swags on a castle cake and will be using one on a lighthouse wedding cake, for the beam of light.  So many uses for them that I keep a couple packages on hand.  If your son is very young though and loves putting things in his mouth, I wouldn't chance it because it may present a choking hazard.

AThank you DeniseNH, I just read your post re Fairy Berries. I went onto eBay straight away saw them and bought some. I never knew they existed.
