K8, I'm making the corn pudding again to take to a pot luck tomorrow. I think I'll just use 1 tbs of butter, enough to coat the baking dish. The chilies are roasting now. House smells wonderful.

 

Since my pie crust hopelessly shrank, my chocolate peanut butter cream pie became pots du chocolat!

I know our Turkey day is long over but I made :

Maple bacon brussel sprouts

Creamed kale

and sauted apples, onions, and cabbage in bacon grease (just a little helps flavor it)

hi lynne, man that all sounds good--i've never had cooked kale except for crispy kale chips--i need to try that--a little bacon grease is a very good thing! ;)

elcee, good call on roasting your own--was not impressed with the hatch canned ones--
