how long can i keep royal icing in the fridge for (made from meringue powder), not fresh egg whites?

There is no need to keep RI in the fridge just make sure it is well covered with cling film and in an air tight container then cover that with a wet cloth. Stir it every day  RI will keep for a couple of weeks but as time goes on its uses will be less you cannot use RI for run out work after a couple of days because it will not dry or be nice and shinny.

Unused Royal Icing dosent last too long make some flowers or something pretty and store it!
