Hi guys! I'm doing my first wedding cake for a friend, and I made the mistake of mentioning one of my favorite cakes before I checked for recipies. Truth is I haven't made many cakes in the last two years. All I've made this year was a birthday cake and a 3 layer trophy cake for a BBQ Rib Cook Off,

Years ago on here (I think) I came across a cake that was butter pecan cake, a recipe for praline pecans, and maple icing, and I can't remember what kind of filling? Maple cream cheese maybe? Anyway, I need to find the recipe, I thought someone on here might be a search guru since I can't seem to find it through search :( TIA

Ok, I found a picture on here of the cake that I made, thankfully it gives some credit to where I got the cake recipe. (it is the tiera cake "mady's little princess" that I loaded years ago). The caption says " the botom layer is Chocolate Fudge with Dreamy Chocolate Mouse filling; the middle is Butter Pecan cake with Maple Cheese Cake filling and Praline Pecans; and the top is Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese filling and apple butter. I have to give credit for the middle tier to a CC member who posted the flavor combo on the seasonal flavors thread."

Oddly, the flavors my bride chose are the exact same for the bottom two layers.... So I'm good on the mousse filling, that's been a staple around here and I could make it in my sleep, but the butter pecan cake I'm at a loss for. I'm going to search season flavors, and see what i can come up with, but please, any help would be so appreciated.
