Can anyone tell me if something this metallic looking is actually edible and safe? Understandably the maker doesn't give away her recipe but I've never seen anything this shiny?

I say, NO, there's no edible equivalent things that shiny.

I looked at her FB page and she uses disco dust very liberally. She even admits in in some of her replies to queries.

I'd also say that some of the colors are achieved by mixing silver highlighter--also for decoration only and not edible because it contains metals--with luster dust and disco dust.  The gold is also likely highlighter.

Pretty sad that someone can knowingly use products that are NOT for consumption, but she's probably not eating the crap................

There's always real gold leaf..... and real gold spray. Both are edible, but obviously more costly than cosmetic-grade glitters and dusts.
