Hi all,
I got a request for a carmel apple flavored cake. I used a carmel cake from macsmom and it was great. Thought perhaps I'd use apple pie filling and drizzle that with carmel. My thoughts are: If i fill it 2 days before the event, will it go soggy? I know the packaged fillings should be good for this, but wanted input. The other way I could go is apple cake with carmel filling, but haven't tried any apple cake recipes. I don't want it like an apple spice though. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
