hi im making a cake in December and i need to make a E type Jaguar car cake,  does anyone know how i can do this or if theres a tutorial anywere? would be a great help! thanks x

mike mccarey has a fabulous dvd on making cars--i lost mine (dang it!) but it's basically like doing any sculpture--get the size you want and do stills of every angle so you can make a template--or freehand it if you are a genius sculptor--

 

i went to the dealer and got the book on this nissan car i did for my son--and i used rice krispie treats,  so i could take my time -- then modeling choco then fondant

 

and if you google 'mike mccarey's car cake  tutorial'--you get a lot of information there too

AHe did a really good class on how to do cars on Craftsy, it will give you enough info to figure out pretty much any car.
