Hi All...

I have a quick question.  I am making a cake for a friend's baby shower and filling it with nutella buttercream.  The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of heavy cream.  I will probably make 3x the recipe.  When I made it before I refrigerated the cake... but then worried the next day that the cake would not come to room temp in time and the filling would be hard.  Could I keep the cake out of the refrigerator?  or should I not take a chance.

Any thoughts or advise would be greatly appreciated.

It should be fine left out for a day or two.

I put nutella buttercream on cupcakes and never refrigerated them at all. they were still good after a few days. think I kept them in a box in the garage.
