So, my niece is getting married and has asked me to make her wedding cake.  I'm super nervous (but very excited) because this will be my first wedding cake.  The pic below is the cake that she wants but I've been wracking my brain trying to decide what size tiers this cake is and how many layers are in each.  Can anyone help me with that?  Also, any other advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

AIt looks like a 6,8,10 inch to me. As far as layers of cake, no idea. But I usually get a 4 inch tier when I use 2 cakes split in half for 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling.

How many people will be at her wedding? Because different tiers will give you different amount of servings. You want to make sure you have enough delicious cake for everyone :) You can have as many layers as you want assuming you torte two 2" high cakes, like what rychevamp is talking about.
