when people make 12x18 cakes are they using a 12x18 cookie sheet? if not - what would your best advice be for making a 12x13 cake - just bake 2 9x13's and cut one up and ad it on??
My original half sheet pan was a 12x18x2. I had to keep trimming it to fit on my cake boards so I switched to an 11x15x2 for my half sheets.
Same thing for my quarter sheets....I used to use 9x13x2 then switched to 8x12x2.
Why do you specifically need a 12x13?
oh! right! full slab is 12x18 - isn't it. I don't have an 11x15 :( I only have 9x13 & cookie sheets lol
A full sheet is not a 12x18....just another version of a half sheet. There are different definitions of a half sheet, quarter sheet and full sheet. They vary slightly in sizes.
For my full sheet cakes....I bake 2..11x15 and put them side by side. Are you trying to bake a cake....or cookies?
