Nicholas Lodge offers classes as well as other classes by the International Sugar Arts collection.

There are MANY talented artists in the Atlanta area but that is the first one that comes to mind.

AInternational Sugar Art Collection...classes with Nicholas lodge. I've been to his classes so many times I have lost count...and I fly in from CT. Go to one of his open houses..see the demos, get to know him...you really should give it a shot. His teaching style is fantastic...NO ONE leaves with an unfinished project! Www.nicholaslodge.com

Warning...this will sound a bit snarky.

I WISH I was only 2 hours from Atlanta!!!!  Seriously!  I'm in Charleston.  Atlanta is the closest mecca of classes to me.  That means an overnight stay.  2 hours!  You can drive to the class and still be home for dinner.

I'm originally from Atlanta.  What part of Georgia are you?  Down near Griffin or Macon?

AAhh that is out there. I can't really think of any classes close to you. But, there are lots in the Atlanta area.
