When a customer wants gumpaste flowers and I have to order them from online...what should be the upcharge to the customer?Of course the cost of the flowers and shipping but should I charge more?

I would include it in the "price per serving" price instead of charging separately. I'd figure out the cost and add accordingly.

AWhenever I purchase items for resale on a customer's cake, I pass on the price of the item (including tax and shipping) plus my usual markup for profit. If the item is not dependent on the size of the cake (like a topper) it is added on as a flat fee, otherwise it is baked into the per-serving price.
