So I would just make a hole in the center of the jug and insert the cooper/pvc pipe? In my head I only imagine it falling a part!?! Would try not to go over 500g but with the cake, ganache and fondant probably go up to 1kg
no there's a lot more to it than that--the cake stand is built first--
maybe there's some you tube videos on cake sculpting--

AWell Sharon Wee makes a good portion of her living teaching classes on how to make this. But I would think that a trip to the hardware store to investigate pipes and flanges would probably answer some questions for you.

No the only way to hold this cake together without toppling over is using the cake stackers system I'm sure. Go to their facebook page to see some examples
