I'm going to be making mmf. I'm out of the regular Crisco, but have the butter flavor Crisco on hand.

Can I use that instead to make my fondant or does it absolutely have to be regular Crisco?

AIt's yellow, so your fondant will have a yellowish tint to it.

Okay, I was wondering if that would happen. I'm going to be coloring some of it green, but will also be needing white, so looks like I'll need to make a trip to the store. Thank you :)

AThe green would be fine but not the white. Maybe you can make the batch and see if the color will be ok. If you are just using it to grease the bowl, maybe it won't be enough to make much of a difference. Good luck!
