AI have a cake that someone asked me to do which would require me to cover the cake with an edible camo design ( specifically mossy oak break up infinity design). The only way I can think to do that would be to cover it with printed sugar sheets but I do know that the sugar sheets 1) crack easily when put across a curved surface or corner and 2) are quite pricey when bought pre printed and I am doing a wedding cake so I would need to buy a large quantity. So my question is.... Is there a simpler ( and price effective) way to cover a large cake with a camo print ( mossy oak break up infinity design) without using sugar sheets?

AYou can place different colors of fondant together (like a puzzle) then use your rolling pin to smooth them together and roll it out. Print out the deer symbol on Card stock and use as a template.

Or use crusting buttercream. I've seen tutorials for both.
