Recovering from exhibiting at my first wedding fair yesterday here in Perth, Australia. The fair was called First Comes Love and I had such a fun day meeting loads of lovely potential cake clients and other wedding vendors.
It was a really different sort of wedding fair - heading down that vintage/shabby chic route rather than huge cakes and lots of bling.
Here's a couple of pics of my little stall. I took loads of tips and tricks from other CC'ers before planning my stall and everything went so smoothly I'm glad I did!
I had my samples (mini cupcakes - two flavours on domed trays) on one table, my display cakes on another table and a photobook of cakes on a separate table so there was lots for everyone to see. I had business cards in front of my display cakes and two framed stands - one with a list of flavours and one saying that what people were looking at was just a teensy tiny selection of styles and together we could come up with whatever they wanted.
Such good fun! I think my vintage ladder needs a bit more going on next time but other than that I was happy with how my little stall looked.
Thanks jellybeanking!
Godot, sure thing - it's my first display so anything to make the next one better is a good thing!!
