Just out of curiosity, how much would you have charged for this cake? It is a 2-layer 10-inch German Chocolate cake. The filling is the coconut and pecan mixture. Iced first with Chocolate Buttercream, then topped with the coconut and pecans.

It was my second paid cake and I want to make sure I charged the correct amount.

TIA
LL

I would have charged $45.00. My 10" 2-layer buttercream runs $35.00 then I add $10.00 for pecans (expensive) and coconut. Looks great though. I know they enjoyed it.

I Agree.....I would have charged $35.00-$45.00 ALSO! Those cake in the grocery store are nearly $15.00 for an 8 inch but no half as good!!!

I charged $40.00. But I wanted to charge $45 or $50 due to the coconut and pecans. He said that was reasonable, so I'm happy with it.

Thanks for your nice comments.
