Vanilla Praline And Mocha Cream Filling??

I have been commissioned to do a small cake. Im pretty new to cake work. Does anyone have any ideas about where to start? I havent made a Vanilla praline based cake ever. Ahhhh help.

I do not have a recipe for vanilla praline cake... and if you don't, why did you accept an order for a cake you don't have a reliable recipe for to begin with...

 

But that aside... 

 

Praline, if I remember correctly, is Caramel and Pecans (roughly)

 

Are you looking to make a vanilla cake with praline icing?

Praline can be with pecans,almonds etc. It is a very tender cake,would not recommend for a tiered cake. You could use a yellow type cake with praline for filling.
