AHi, I am currently making butterflies for cupcakes I have used fondant/rolled icing which I have coloured using a paste and mixed in some tylose powder. I have left them for 12 hours so far and they are not yet dried out any idea how long it will take them to dry and completely set so that the wings don't drop?? Thank u

AIt all depends on hoe thinly they were rolled out, how much tylose you added and the humidity;

Thick fondant, too little tylose and high humidity could take weeks to dry out :-(

Try sitting them in an oven at about 70-90C with the door slightly open for a few hours and see how they firm up, if that fails you could buy some gum paste and it'll harden up overnight so long as its rolled really thin and its not too humid.

Hope that helps :-)

You can help them along by putting a fan on them - on low
