Can anyone tell me how many cake mixes it would take to fill a 10 x 12 inch cake pan. This will be the first time I use these.

if you go to the Wilton website they have a very nice chart that gives you everything from batter amounts to aprox cooking times. It also lists serving sizes. There is one chart for wedding cakes and one chart for party cakes. This should give you and aprox idea of how much batter you will need. At that point you need to make your cake mix to see how many cups of batter it yields, then do the math to find out how many mixes you will need for the size cake pan you are using.
