I'm making a house cake surrounded by landscaping.   My question how far in advance can I make the "yard/landscaping"?   I want to have a sidewalk, road and the green yard.  The overall base will  36X36 - not a small project - LOL.  The house will be on another board and I will set in the middle of  the base. Also, what would you use to make the yard/ landscaping  -MMF?

Thanks

Aif you're just making it out of fondant/GP, nothing perishable you can make it months ahead! just keep it out of direct sun else the colours will fade and keep it covered so it doesnt get dusty :-)

AGp is more expensive but you can make much finer details, I would use it for things like flowers in the garden, clothes on a washing line, people and pets if you plan on including those...
