i have flat fondant flowers about 4cm .I have added tylose powder and they go stiffer but petals keep breaking and i need to mail some.I heard if i steam them this may make them hard , is this correct ? and would they still be edible ? any help much appreciated
AIf they are too brittle, either make them thicker, use less tylose, or try gumpaste instead.
Try putting them in the oven with the oven light on overnight.
