AIve been watching cake boss for a long time and I have always admired his creativity. O have never made figures before and want to try making a fondant/modelling choc princess. I have seen that on cake boss he makes a body structure with wires and then coats them with modelling chocolate...does anybody know, are they the usual floral wires or are they special wires? And can they be uses for gum paste/fondant?

Who knows...but, you should use food-grade wires if you are working with cakes.  They sell them at Global  Sugar Art as well as Michael's.
