Hi guys,

 Im thinking about starting a cupcake business. I been baking cupcakes from home the past 9 months and i use the sandra lee and wilton muffin pan. The cupcakes do not come out baking even. The ones on the edge tend to bake very fast, while the middle ones take at least another 1-2.5 minutes. If i want to start a cupcake business, what brand and type of muffin pan do you recommend? Do you guys know what bakers use? please advise!

Anna =)

AIt's probably your oven heating unevenly rather than the muffin tin.

Recently someone was asking this same question.  One response was a brand called USA that I had never heard of before.

I own all kinds of "unprofessional" no-name muffin pans purchased from yard sales,Target, Kohl's, etc. I own "professional" pans, too. The pans all seem to bake the same.
