I wanted to know if you can fill up a poptart with pastry or bavarian cream and bake it in the oven? Am guessing the answer is probably no, because it will just run or burn?
Or if you know of any custards that are oven safe.
AIs there a reason you want to bake it? You can just blind bake your tart case and when it cools fill it with pastry cream. But you can make a baked egg custard tart if you prefer, it will have a different texture to pastry cream. And you must blind bake your tart case first or you'll end up with soggy pastry!!
