AHey everyone,

I'm making a cupcake cake for a birthday party soon, and I was wondering how to transport it? I was thinking maybe like in a large pizza box or something...but that might be a little flimsy. Could anyone suggest how to transport a cupcake cake that has about 48 cupcakes? Thanks! :) xo

I'm not sure if a pizza box would be deep enough-meaning you can't close the lid.  Also, I am not sure there is a pizza box big enough for 48 cupcakes.

I would just use regular cake boxes for sheet cakes. You would place your cupcakes on a cake board that fits the box you are using.

AYes, I'd do the same thing DarkChoc suggested. Just place your foam board or whatever inside the box.
