Hi, I'm not so experienced on making and decorating cakes but the first ones I have made were decorated with imbc, not the best decoration but quite acceptable. I have discovered fondant 2 months ago and find that it's more versatile than BCs. my next cake will be covered with this, but I just want to make sure the cake I'll do will be able to bear the fondant, which bring me over to this question, Is there specific kinds of cakes to be covered with fondant or any kind can be covered with fondant? any suggestion for my first time?

Thanks in advance. :)

In my case I usually add a layer of mango flavored marshmallows in my cake. :)
