AIt's amazing that a question like that could even escape their ignorant little lips in the first place. Can't believe people can look at a custom cake, and associate it with something from the grocery store.

Thank you maybenot, that's quite funny! (But risky, since there's a cake mix photo. Hopefully no one will get offended.)

I should hope not, since the moderators have directed that people should refrain from getting offended.

You also can no longer be argumentative, so please don't express divergent views.

AHalf a grocery store cake, because the time and gas to get it don't come free!

AHilarious! (But I am concerned about the lit candle; somebody could burn themselves. I suspect there may be laws about selling lit candles.)

LOL, this reminds me of the current trend I've seen at work:

:ring ring:

"Hello, Bakery, this is embersmom, how may I help you?"

"Yes, I would like to order a multilayered round cake filled with X and iced with X and with some kind of fondant decoration on top..."

"I'm sorry, we don't have the ingredients nor the tools to do such a cake.  I'd suggest you call [name both freestanding retail bakeries within two miles] because they'll be able to do that type of cake."

"Oh...I came to you because I don't want to spend the money!  It''s JUST CAKE!"

I don't know, I think that springform pan alone might cost more than the grocery store cake! And I would charge more for that candle, you can use that again! icon_wink.gif
