Way cool!

I always liked "No money - no cakey" but do not remember who came up with it first.

Ahey let's not forget Indydebi's classic line for cake tastings: "My lemon cake will taste just as good as my white cake except it will taste like lemon."

They are really low resolution so I don't know if they'd make good screen saves.  I'll save them all in one image when I am done and send it to you.

Thank you, Sparklecat! (your, you're). I usually think it's so small in my signature that people don't see it. icon_smile.gif

Okay here is Anna's,  IDK why but the three little cakes and one big cake kinda reminded me of ducklings!

lol nope, not at all.  I see it every time I see one of your posts and giggle like a maniac.  I'm easily agitated by spelling/grammar mistakes too!

Okay this one is my personal favorite,  I think the person's screen name was  __Jamie__ but I can't find it anymore.

A friend who asked me to make cake for her wanted a decorated cake & a plain sheet cake.  I suggested that instead of a sheet cake, I could make some decorated cupcakes.  She said "no" her husband said that it was more dressy and upscale to have a sheet cake!....  go figure...... It's Alaska.....

I'm absolutely loving these! I think my favorite is Shanter's. Incorrect English and poor spelling truly stick in my throat. There are several more that just don't come to mind at the moment. I hope to see them here, too. (I'm sure you'll come up with them.)

Ohhh I can't remember who said it, but it was something along the lines of "a cake is not just flour and eggs... flour and eggs is glue" or something to that effect.  I'm sure I killed the quote, apologies to whoever said/wrote it!  But the actual quote is funny :)

The sheet cake one, that's an old screen name of mine.

I don't know who said it, but one of my favorites is "great cake isn't cheap and cheap cake isn't great"...or something along those lines :0)
