When I first started there was a page that listed most of them. I even bookmarked it. It was http://cakecentral.com/acronyms

not sure if it is a temporary thing that it is not working.

Moderators does this list still exist somewhere?

I'll start:

RKT = Rice Krispie treats

HTH = Hope that helps

TIA = Thanks in advance

BC = buttercream or Betty Crocker

DH = Duncan Hines

MMF = marshmallow fondant

MFF = Michele Foster's fondant

scmilk or SCM = sweetened condensed milk

DH = dear husband

DD = dear daughter

There are more. You could post some that you don't know and we could explain them.

I've seen lots of threads requesting a functional acronym list and would love to have one myself. But I think we're on our own to develop a new one. So I'll continue...

SMBC = Swiss Meringue Buttercream

IMBC = Italian Meringue Buttercream

ABC = American Buttercream (aka crusting buttercream, no-cook buttercream)

RBC = Rolled Buttercream

FBCT = Frozen Buttercream Transfer

RI = Royal Icing

MDSW = Multi-Dimensional Sugar Work

NFSC = No Fail Sugar Cookie

PITA = pain in the ass

OP = original poster

MOB = Mother of the Bride

Thank you virago, that link is very helpful. I've been here several years and I still don't know many of the acronyms.
