Hi guys!! I have been asked to do cakes for my brothers party which is 2 hours away... my family and I am going on vacation right after. So.. my dilemma is transporting 3 6" cakes (on 8" cake boards) in my car which will be packed up with people and suitcases.. i.e. I will have no flat empty surfaces.
I was considering maybe putting the 3 cakes into a bakery cardboard box and just laying them where I could.. or something to that effect? Anyone have experience on this?
PS the cakes are very simple, 3 layer 6" cakes, no tiers, covered in buttercream with some fondant accents
