AOk so I went to Ihop the otherday and ordered the international crepes and it came with this lingon berry butter. I know its not exactly fine dining but I was inspired lol. The butter was delightful, so I thought a lingonberry butter cream would be great! Any body hear of it or use it or have a recipe?
Ikea of all places sells a jam and syrup, I would just mix jam into IMBC or cook some down, puree/sieve them, and then mix them in.
We always called them foxberries, Ikea was the first place I had ever heard 'lingon' before, lol.

I'm unfamiliar with Lingonberries although I've seen the jam so I went on a Google search. It seems they are to Scandinavians like blackberries are to the US. They are also called red whortleberries, cowberries, fox berries, mountain cranberries, mountain bilberries, or partridgeberries.
Jam in butter cream is always good for me :)
