AWhy don't you just cover in in fondant if it needs to be white and they want chocolate buttercream? I don't have a recipe for white chocolate buttercream sorry.

AOh ok, have you ever tried MMF? It doesn't taste like the fondant you buy.

ASomeone posted a method on another thread that should work for you in this situation. I can't remember who or where it was, but basically they said to cover the cake in chocolate buttercream, refrigerate it until the buttercream is firm and then do a thin layer of your desired colour (in this case, white) overtop. I have never done this, but it sounds like it would work. You might need to do a couple of layers of the white, refrigerating between layers.
