I'm researching the purchase of a new 6 or 7 qt. Kitchenaid mixer. I've looked at Kohls, Williams Sonoma, Everythings Kitchen and Amazon so far. Any input on any of these places/sites or did you purchase your KA somewhere else? Do you have any experience with ordering a mixer online? Thanks.

my first mixer was from kohls and the second was on clearance at home goods. i think a mixer is a mixer, doesn't matter the retailer, you just have to find the best price.

I bought my 6 qt kitchenaid mixer from Kohls with a 30% discount coupon.  That was a good deal.
I bought a 10 qt Vollrath mixer online with no problems.

Have you tried Costco? They have excellent customer service and often have sales on their KAs.

I purchased my 7qt from Williams Sonoma about 2 years ago and never had a problem with it.

Kohl's while on sale with an additional 30% off.  Can't beat it!

I just checked Costco online (we don't have a store nearby) and they don't offer the 6 or 7 qt KA.

Lowes (in store), Everything Kitchens (online), Webstaurant Store, Target.  All good - find the best price.

AHave you considered getting two 4.5qt mixers instead? Costco is selling them for $170.

I already have two 4.5 mixers and would really like something bigger now but a good thought Jason.

ACostco always has them in store, I paid $240 for my 5.5qt that has a 6 qt bowl. Recently I saw the same size in Sams for a similar price, and it came with a mail in rebate for a free pasta roller which is worth over $100.
