Hi all, i'm not asking a pricing question but I am wondering how you all adjust for a carved cake or shaped cake when it comes to the servings? I'm unsure how many servings I would be "cutting" away when carving my cake. I know if I did one before hand I could guesstimate and I have an idea of what pans i'm using but I'm not sure how to give a proper serving size. I've been asked to make an adult thong (underwear) cake but I'm sure no matter what I make I'll be providing a lot more servings than they actually need. Is that normal?

I appreciate all your feedback and tips, but I would really like to avoid the "if you don't know what you're making why are you making it" comments. This group is really great and offer a lot of help, and I normally search my question, but I couldn't find anything related to this.

TIA!!
