ive been asked to do deep red rose. what's the best way to get that colour and also a rose tutorial plz and how do u make roses sit on the cake and the sides?  thanks x

AI found the best way to get a deep red rose is to start with red gumpaste or fondant with tylose added and then once the rose is dry use a deeper red petal dust to get the correct color.

I do a lot of deep red roses , I start with red flowerpaste and then dust and steam to get an even deeper colour.
