AI made some petals several weeks ago and they are not drying hard. I think I used to much crisco when needing. The others with less crisco dried hard. Will these ever get hard?

Probably not, if it hasn't already happened.  Were they fondant or gumpaste or mix?  I'd start over.  Sorry for all that trouble.  Did you try adding some tylose?

AThey were either MFF with tylose or Wilton gum paste and fondant mix.

AI really like the smoothness of Wilton gumpaste, but I don't want to always buy it. Is there a recipe that is like Wiltons?
