I've been asked by a bride for a quote on the following wedding cake order:
3 tier cake (only top 6" tier real, other two dummies) covered in buttercream with bunting around the middle tier.
9 x 6" sponge cakes
I'm ok with pricing the 3 tier cake, but I'm really stuck on the 9 6" sponges, as its difficult to know how much time it will take.
Any advice? Has anyone done an order like this before?
AIm not very good with pricing so I am interested to find out as well.
Also why does she want 9 x 6inch cakes? It seems like an odd thing unless there is one for each table or something
She is having one for each table, yes. She is also having some gluten free and others not.
