HI!  So I am going to make a cake with fondant petals on the side. My cake will be covered in buttercream. What seems to be normal is that the whole cake is covered in fondant and then the petals are 'glued' to the fondant. Will the petals stick to the buttercream? Thanks!!

it will depend on the kind of buttercream that you use. for a crusting bc you may have to use a dollop of your frosting behind each petal. for IMBC you can just stick it to the cake while the bc is room temp and it will stay.,
