I received a request for a Peanuts baby shower cake.  I immediately told the girl that I can't do copyrighted characters but will look into how I can get around it.  She said cupcakes could be an option, too.

Has anyone done a "background" designed cake for Peanuts, or added store-bought characters to the cake?  I couldn't find what I was looking for in the gallery, but will try again.

Just looking for ideas.  One I had was taking the designs of their clothing and making flat round fondant cupcake toppers out of it...Yellow with the black zigzag through it, etc.?

I don't know....any thoughts?

If you put "charlie brown peanuts" into ebay you'll find loads of nice things you can put on a cake (lots of terrible things too lol). otherwise you could write to the copyright holder and ask for permission- every time I have asked I've been given permission for a 'one-off'
