I'm pretty amateur when it comes to cakes - the ones I decorate are good, but there are certain things I'm still new to. So help would be appreciated.
I'm going to be decorating a cake, which will be covered in fondant, and I need to stick a heavy piece of fondant, and also a large, flat piece, to the side of the cake. Can anyone help me with how to stick these to the cake?
If it is a thick piece and you can stick skewers in it to push into the cake itself to support it could help. I also tend to adhere things to fondant cakes with melted chocolate (white, brown or colored melts) for quick adhering time.
