Hello-

I work as a cake decorate at a grocery store.  Most of the time when we get wedding cakes they are pretty straight forward and I don't have any difficulty doing them.  However, since Pintrest has become so popular the cakes my costumes are asking for are starting to challenge me.  So far I have been able to rise to the challenges and I really do love it.  They are stretching me to become better.  But today I got stumped.  I had a last minute bride come in, her wedding is July 6th and she brought along a picture of what she would like.  I am assuming these roses are fondant but I really have no idea how to do this cake with thin strips of fondant and have it stick to the cake.

Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU!
