I'm looking for a good recipe for frosting, I want a recipe that is good for frosting cakes and for Fondant Cake. I have tried the Wilton one it's to sweet. I want a recipe that can change good to Chocolate and different flavors, please help.
AMy personal favorite is Swiss Buttercream. This link gives a good recipe and tutorial. It was the first one that I used and then modified it to my taste. It is slightly more complex than the regular american buttercream but surprising easy and amazingly good. Once you make it you can as anything to flavor it from melted chocolate to fruit preserves.
