I am making a wedding cake and need to attach fondant pearls onto butter cream icing. I also don't want to have the outlines around the fondant pieces when I attach them. You know the outlines you get when you press into buttercream. Any ideas? I would love to hear them.

Either use less buttercream so that it doesn't smush up like that, or use a little royal icing.
